AMMAN - JERASH - AJLUN - AMMAN
Breakfast. At first hour of the morning, we will make the panoramic visit including in Amman, one of the oldest cities in the world and the capital of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. Exit in the direction of Jerash, known as the Pompeii of the East, a Roman city in the great state of conservation. Located to the north of Amman, the area has been inhabited since the Neolithic period, highlighting Jerash as the pearl of the Decapolis, the set of ten cities that once was the headquarters of the Roman Empire in the Middle East.After the lunch (only option T.I.) visit including the Ajlun Castle, a fortress built in 1185 as a garrison to protect Ajlun during the crusades and later rebuilt in the 13th century by the Mamluks. Return to Amman. Dinner and lodging.
AMMAN - MADABA - MONTE NEBO -PETRA
Breakfast and departure in the direction of Madaba, people mentioned in the Bible and very well known for its mosaics from the Byzantine era. We will visit the Greek Orthodox Church of San Jorge, where you will find the huge Madaba Mosaic Map. Lunch (only option T.I.). We will continue toward the Mount Nebo, the ideal place to admire the panoramic view of the Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea. Continuation toward the magic Petra. Dinner and lodging.
Breakfast. At first hour of the morning visit including the most significant archaeological site in Jordan and one of the most impressive in the world, Petra, declared Patrimony of the Humanity by the UNESCO in 1985. Halfway between the Gulf of Aqaba and the Dead Sea, located in a deep canyon, is only accessible through a narrow and winding path excavated in the rock. Petra is sculpted in pink sandstone that acquires dark oxide tones combined with gray and yellow bands.We will visit the ruin known as the Treasury, whose facade, beautifully sculpted, is famous world-wide; the Monastery, the most remote building of the city; the amphitheater with a seating capacity of 800 people, and the Temple of the winged Lions. Lunch (only option T.I.). In the afternoon return to the hotel. Dinner and lodging.
PETRA - WADI RUM - AMMAN
Breakfast. Exit toward the desert of Wadi Rum, one of the most spectacular landscapes in Saudi, where the mountains of changing colors with the light of day emerge from vertical forms of the sandy plain. It is the scenery which fell to te Lawrence (Lawrence of Arabia), the official English designed in Saudi who managed to bring together the Arab tribes to fight against the Ottomans during the First World War. The visit included, that is performed to quirky all-terrain vehicles driven by Bedouins, consists in an incursion into the impressive lunar landscape of this desert. Lunch (only option T.I.). Then they will have the opportunity to enjoy a unique experience walking through the desert to riding a camel (not included). In the afternoon departure to Amman. Dinner and lodging.
AMMAN - MAR MUERTO-AMMAN
Breakfast. In the morning we will visit including the Dead Sea, the lowest point on earth, located at 416 m. below sea level between Jordan and Israel and the West Bank. Free time to enjoy a bath in its salinas waters te-rapeúticas. Lunch (only option T.I.). We returned to Amman.Dinner and accommodation.
